CORONAVIRUS: CONTINGENCY PLANNING
Athena remains open for business, but following the Government announcements of the 16th March, not quite as usual. Most staff and partners will be working remotely whilst the current Government guidelines continue. We are constantly monitoring, and will always adhere to, the official Government advice but are determined that the effect of any disruption on our clients is kept to a minimum.
Skeleton staff will remain on-site especially during core hours of 10-12 am, with the bulk of staff and partners working remotely and all are equipped to do so. The use of any individuals mobile telephone number is recommended, given they may well not be in the office.
We remain fully staffed and are willing and able to host essential meetings at Athena but would prefer meetings to be virtual meetings via Skype, “Go to Meeting” or more simply conference and telephone calls. Please try to use email and PDF in preference to physical post wherever possible, since physical objects can be a contaminant.
As with our staff and partners, we ask all visitors to take the necessary hygiene precautions as outlined by the NHS, which will include the use of a hand sanitizer upon entering the office, provided in our reception area.
We politely ask that if you are currently feeling unwell or you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms or have travelled to any of the infected areas or had contact with anyone that has been confirmed with Coronavirus, please reschedule any projected meeting, and notify us in good time if this would affect any Court hearings so that we can notify the Court, seek an adjournment or arrange a telephone hearing instead.
As a firm we are aware we may need to further adapt in the coming weeks and change the services we offer
If you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact our Senior Partner Paul Willan on 0161 839 8847 or via firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0771 878 5556.
